Walker ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
Walker accesses your step count data through Apple HealthKit. This data is used solely to display your daily, weekly, and monthly step statistics and to participate in walking events within the app.
Walker uses Apple iCloud (CloudKit) to enable social features such as creating and joining walking events. The following data is stored in iCloud:
This data is managed through your Apple ID and iCloud account. We do not have direct access to your iCloud credentials.
Walker stores your daily step goal preference locally on your device using UserDefaults. This data is not transmitted to any server.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. When you participate in a walking event, your display name and step count are visible to other participants of that event through iCloud.
Your data is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account. You can delete your data at any time by removing events from the app or by deleting the app. Deleting the app removes all local data.
All data transmission uses Apple's built-in encryption through iCloud and HealthKit frameworks. We do not operate our own servers.
Walker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
